03/05/75 Scottish Cup Final 3-1 Billy McNeill's last game for Celtic as he retires from playing football. He had played an amazing 832 games for Celtic. At the end of this season Jimmy Johnstone (San Hose Earthquakes) and Jim Brogan were given free transfers. Jim Brogan was made captain for his final game, the Glasgow Cup final match against Rangers, on May 10, 1975. |
